Chronology
Following I plan on documenting my group's adventures.
Thursday, August 28, 1996
- 5:00pm - Pick up dry ice to keep everything cool
- 7:00pm - start packing of truck
- 9:00pm - start of trip
Friday, August 29, 1996
- 4:30am - Arrive in Gerlach
- 5:30am - Arrive at Black Rock City
- 8:00am - Finish set up of camp. We are about 100m from Center Camp
- 10:00am - Start exploring Black Rock City and the near suburbs
Saturday, August 30, 1996
- Arrival of Empress Zoe
- Burning of Helco. (Skyscraper, Starfucks Coffee, Motel 666, Caca Bell, McSatan's, Joe Camel)
Sunday, August 31, 1996
- Burn the Man
- Burn the Burning Dog
- Mermen kick ass on stage

GPS measured locations of key areas
The following readings were taken using a Panasonic KX-=G5700 GPS Plotter.
Most of the time I was able to get 4 satellites and on occasion was able
to get 5. Typical error was about 90-135 feet.
